Discussion
Articles of The COVENANT of The Last Few Words
Discussion on Love with respect to Articles
PARAMATMA has stated in Article 11: “The one who shall love and obey my son, The Teacher, shall receive my love.”
Here, we see that PARAMATMA has emphasized the element of obedience as an essential element of love.
Obedience
Discussion on Love with respect to Obedience
Obedience is listed in Regulation number 5: “Obedience is important. Obedience equals Love.”
Surrender
Discussion on Love with respect to Surrender
Love is a form of Surrender wherein the soul and the individual accepts giving up self-control over one’s own will.
He or she accepts the will of The Teacher as the representative of GOD.
He or she removes or reduces the ability of the ego from controlling one’s own actions.
Love is a form of Surrender.
Submit
Discussion on Love with respect to Submit
To voluntarily give up control over one’s own body+mind and accept the directions of The Teacher in every aspect of Life.
To surrender is to Love.
Trust
Discussion on Love with respect to Trust
The elements of Surrender and Submit clearly point to the property of Trust wherein when you love, you trust.
Therefore, where there is no trust, the claim of love appears false and hollow. It is important to note and understand that the trust is unconditional.
Worship
Discussion on Love with respect to Worship
To surrender the will and to submit the being to GOD at all times as long as The Teacher is Incarnate (present) in a physical body to accept Him as Representative of GOD.
The Definition of Worship is clear of any ambiguity in the direction given by PARAMATMA to every individual in Janam.
It becomes a duty to worship whenever The Teacher is Incarnate in a physical body. Therefore, this is a permanent prohibition by GOD in HIS own words from any form of Worship of The Teacher or His body after the passage of Incarnation from the physical world e.g. physical replicas made out of stone, wood, metal, paper, etc depicting or indicating a likeness or similarity to the physical body of the previous Incarnation. Using puppets or other artifacts in a symbolic manner depicting or trying to depict the physical being of any previous incarnation is also prohibited. This prohibition includes any act which tantamount to worship of The Teachings in the form of writing e.g. tablets, paper, etc.
The LAW of Consequences
Discussion on Love with respect to The LAW of Consequences
The LAW of Consequences says that I have to live with the consequences of my actions. GOD has directed me to love and obey The Teacher, HIS son, so that I may receive HIS love. Here, the essential element of love is clearly spelt out as a set of actions carried out by the individual which will lead directly to a reciprocal benefit called Love from GOD HIMSELF.
Conclusion
From this, it is inferred that to love means to do something for another in the physical universe.
